A structural pendant made with a natural, uncut tourmaline 'pillar' encased in hand engraved solid yellow gold. An acknowledgement of the parallels between architectural adornment and traditional modes of decorating the body. Tourmalines have been chosen specifically for the centre of this pendant for their vertical prismatic structure, meaning they often occur long and slender; columnar in their natural uncut state.
pendant is 20mm in length, the chain is 19" long.
